Acting Bio
Frank Ingrasciotta is the writer and performer of the critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway play Blood Type: RAGU, which continues to tour nationally and internationally. Published by Next Stage Press and is now in screenplay development.
His theatre credits include Godspell (original Off-Broadway production), Valley of the Dolls, Invasion of the Body Suckers (New York Theatre Workshop), What Would Nora Say? (John Drew Theatre), Three Postcards, Snow White Goes West, Dinner at 8, Edgar Degas in The Girl in the Blue Armchair (Westchester Conservatory), and the Pharaoh in Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Lincoln Center).
On film, Frank has played principal roles in the award-winning SAG shorts Figs for Italo, Brooklyn in July, and The Keeper (dir. Bob Celli), all featured on the film festival circuit and on Amazon Prime. Television work includes five years as René Buchanan’s maître d’ on One Life to Live, along with recurring roles on The Guiding Light, All My Children, ABC Afterschool Special, and The Equalizer. He has been featured on ABC-TV Buffalo, Fox Morning News, Wingin' It Buffalo Style, Broadway Beat, and Valerie Smaldone’s Bagels and Broadway (AM970 The Answer). He trained with William Esper at the William Esper Studio and holds a B.A. in Theatre from SUNY Empire State. Beyond acting, Frank is a stage director and teaching artist.
